I’m very disappointed with Diggs. This year he’s been more of a JAG – just a guy- than a premier receiver.
I didn't think we needed to draft a linebacker before the game but now i think a mid to late round athletic linebacker is needed for depth
I wish Micah and Po could retire together,as Bills, they earned it. Beane got extra picks for a reason. GO BILLS
I’m here to announce that the National media is not incompetent. It is something far worse than that: it is agenda driven. Hating Josh Allen gets clicks, views, and causes controversy because anybody with two eyeballs and a non-lobotomized brain can see that Mahomes is the only QB who can even compete with him when he plays with surgical precision, like he did on Sunday.
And Mahomes has the better defensive and special team units to complement him. In games where the QBs play to a stalemate, the team with the better defense and STs will win. It really is that simple.
They always play scared against KC on defense in the playoffs. I saw Siran Neal lined up on Kelce one time and it was an incomplete pass.
Sherfield shouldn’t have been a deep target. Shakir should have, as should Diggs. The fact is Brady schemed up a running game, and the deep passing game turned to rust. Saying the deep passes weren’t there is wrong. You have to throw more than three long balls to establish a passing game. Or reestablish one. Josh is a gunslinger who has been handcuffed by the last two OCs. They plan in fear of the interception, limiting Josh to the role of an ordinary QB. Anyone can throw the short routes. He has a cannon for an arm, yet that cannon has been limited severely by Josh’s spotty past. I’d rather see him go down gunslinging. Not dinking and dunking, terrified of losing to the Chiefs every single year. Josh is an obedient player who will do as he’s told for the most part. I don’t want him hamstrung like he has been by that terror. To beat the best you have to have the same attitude as the Eagles in the Super Bowl against the Patriots. No holds barred, balls to the wall gutsiness. Diggs is dropping these balls because their in game timing is off. He acts surprised to be getting targeted, because he hasn’t been enough recently. Not saying he resents the new focus on the run, but it’s clear that they are no longer in synch. Same thing happened between Kelce and Mahomes earlier in the season, with a new focus on Pacheco in the absence of Tyreek Hill. You have to allow the gunslinger to sling. Josh Allen was handcuffed this game, playing not to lose in the fourth quarter rather than to win. Leaving it up to Bass was foolish. Mahomes would have driven down the field with two minutes left and scored anyway. Allen will never advance until he conquers his terror of being intercepted.
Granted, Diggs dropped one pass. But Allen forced one in to Diggs that he should NOT have thrown. Then there is that wide open Diggs that he should have throw it to and he did NOT.
At the end of the day, the kicker let yall down. Stop blaming the receivers.
Frustrated me most …McD sat Elam and Williams .. both younger , faster and hungrier than Klein Poyer and Hyde .. who have proven year over year .. they can’t get the job done …. Always a step behind … all 3 should have been gone after 13 sec game …
Big deal, Diggs dropped ONE ball. He should have kept feeding it to him.
Diggs is absolutely washed.
He has zero fire when it matters anymore.
The guy is soft and has been nothing but an anchor dragging them down.
Do you think josh is going to ghost him all offseason and drop cryptic bullshit on social media like diggs did??
My contention in the first quarter was that if we could score 30+ points we would win. It was there and it didn't happen. Just too bad.
The bills are about to be the 5-11 Bills again. All those good players are either old now or have expiring contracts.
Dalton Kincaid was a stud. Leading receiver in the chiefs game, always reliable. Had a phenomenal season and can't wait to see him next season.
Once Bernard wasn't playing I knew the bills defense was cooked! Douglas should of sat out. I thought McDermott should of blitz more and replaced Kline with Williams. I think it's time for McDermott to go! Bring in bellichek or harbaugh. Diggs I think probably has ran his course in buffalo he doesn't want to be in buffalo. We should try to get tee Higgins
I think Brady is not the guy …. U have seen some bonehead run calls at bad times … but to call a play for a TD leaving too much on the clock … with a McD D that couldn’t stop an ANT … should have called for plays to milk more clock .. get closer for FG .. it td was wasn’t available …. On third down .. Allen scramble right … there was no receiver around anywhere near …a first down marker .. the were blanketed in the end zone … bad call ask me …
So like McD vs texans … play calling didn’t get it done … time to move on from Brady …
thats coaching. bills show up in the playoffs and forget theyre in the playoffs. chiefs turn it up in the playoffs . thats the difference
There was poor offensive play calling within the last 1 minute of the game that I think really cost Buffalo. They burned too much of the clock and relied to much on the kicker. If the kicker fails it is over. Not enough time to get the ball back
So what do you think is up with Diggs? I feel like he hasn’t been the hot receiver all year?!
I really think the obvious answer is to hire a DC… it wasn’t happening with Frazier and same or even worse results from MCD … this was the worse D game of them all and happened at another crucial time … I’ll try McD for another year as HC … but not also DC … a fresh young hungry aggressive mind…
The game plan was designed to control the ball and keep Mahomes off the field. Bills ran 70 plus plays, Chiefs 40 plus. The Bills ran 30 more plays than the Chiefs! The game plan worked to perfection. The reason the Bills lost was their defense couldn't cover ANYONE, all game long.
Hindsight is 20/20 People love the blame game. They also love to dream up illogical solutions like firing the HC for a lottery ticket on a new coach. Show me one time that Bills fans were correct about firing coaches and that resulted in a SB ring? Show me one. If firing coaches guarantees SB rings, we should have multiple rings by now. There are rational solutions to problems, but fans typically resort to panic and desperation. That is why they are spectators and not playing the game.
Was Poyer involved in rigging this game? If you look at the Kelce touchdown when he was wide open for the touchdown Poyer just stopped covering him for no reason. What all-Pro safety would just stop covering Kelce!? He is at the end of his career so did he take a little $ for his retirement fund? I don't know. It also created another Swifty moment. Check out this video: Live Buffalo Bills fan reaction to AFC Divisional loss to Kansas City at around 2;50. Why did Poyer stop covering Kelce to leave him wide open!?
As a fan, who has a ton of respect for what everyone in the program has achieved. When I am honest with myself, I am open to a few rebuilding years, and a total regime change.
One thing is crystal clear. Josh Allen is a superbowl winning caliber QB. Time to make some hard decisions, and take advantage of that.
I have seen enough of McDermott's choice making in the biggest moments. And while Beane has had solid hits, he's had a lot of whiff's, Von Miller being the most obvious.
48 snaps seems really low for how productive Kincade was
Game plan was great. They needed one more first down and didn't get it. We were losing if that kick was good or bad.
Joe, you're a beast bro. Love the break down, Josh needs help…… Fans should be happy, our O-line and QB proved they are the best in the NFL.. D looked tired but they were beat up (counting on a guy off the couch ) so you can't put the blame on them. Smart football is coaching. I'm proud of the team.. Go Bills..
Damar fake punt is where stuff went south
Sean McDermott has taken this team as far as he can.
Throwing bombs in 12 degree weather in the second half was risky
Diggs was a dud in this game? Brother…Diggs was a dud ALL SEASON. Not pleased with this, but prove me wrong. Much is expected if you think you're still an elite WR. Diggs should not be graded on the scale as someone like Klein.
I’m honestly pretty over Diggs. The last 12 months have been extremely telling of his character. If we could unload him for a 1st, I would do it in a heartbeat.
If Mahone is not disrupted, no team can beat him. Bills failed to disrupt.
I agree I was hoping for them to put Elam in the game along with Dorian Williams because both corners and Klein looked horrible
Josh is a great quarterback, I just think he needs a different head coach. Josh is too nice, he needs to be like Tom Brady. Even though I hated watching Tom yelling at his team but who has 7 Super Bowl rings. Tom wasn’t there to make friends it was his job and he got it done (goat). I wish Brady would call Josh and tell him how to be with the team going forward. 😊
