For me, the greatest single season the Premier league has ever seen was Suarez in 2013-14, and it’s not even that close.
31 goals and 17 assists despite being banned for first 5 matches.
Didn’t take the penalties, with Gerrard taking 11 that season.
If Suarez had been taking the penalties and had even scored less than half of them, he’d be equal with Haaland’s record 36 goals, while registering more than twice as many assists as the Norwegian. Everything he did for Barcelona afterwards also re-emphasises how good he was.
I’m not saying he necessarily had the longevity, but for a single season for my money he’s the best the premier league has ever seen.

The best player I've seen in a liverpool shirt along side Stevie G in my era. He was unbelievable. Score, assist, loved a nutmeg, dribble , worked harder than anyone. The goal against Newcastle is just incredible, 60 yard punt over his head, he's sprinting and controls it via his shoulder and in one movement rounds the goalkeeper.
That one against Stoke after 5.00 was similar to his goal against England in 2014, when he capitalised on a mistake to score.
