Every good team will have a bad game, but I have concerns with some of the choices. I actually think of the coaches, Skocic fielded the best players. Quieroz had a boner for past players, while Ghalenoi has a boner for domestic. Beiranvand has lost his mind. He is so indecisive and feels he needs to dribble players in the box. The buildup starting in the back is slow. The backline pass the ball back and forth without advancing the ball, as if they're scared they won't be able to get back. It's just stale. The first half showed how vital Saeed is. He is a crucial ball distributor for us. He's not the fastest, but we need his skill and offensive iniation. Milad doesn't belong on the team period. I believe sadegh should be a fix in the lineup. Lastly, I'm sorry guys but Jahanbaksh is overrated. He is a poor dribbler, doesn't have the best first touch and always feels he has to launch the ball from distance. Don't get me wrong, he's good enough to start but we've been saying for a few years now we need more from him. He's a euro player for many years. Ok rant is over. Let's go get UAE!!!
I think the next game will be a better opportunity to calibrate the team. But so far, the team looks disorganized and is dependent on individual ability. Queiroz's team was so disciplined and united.

Good episode guys. What was their tactic in this match? If they struggled so much against Honk Kong how would they play if they conceded against s stronger team? Also the managers as you pointed out shirk responsibility. The fact that federation kept Quirosh for so long is a separation conversation. Ghalrnoi is very smart but he should be more mature after all these years
taremi has always been pass happy in team melli and it's getting worse, the guy never wants to score a goal and always opts for passing to the nearest teammate even though he has the talent and the better opportunity to finish the job himself. look out for this specific syndrome next time the ball comes to him.

We thought we could rotate several players and walk this game, nearly got caught out. The players who were given a chance have blown it I think, Moghanlou and hosseini atm are not at international level, cheshmi, ebrahimi need to retire from international football after this, jahanbakhsh has gone backwards and shouldn’t be an automatic starter imo, give mohebi or Gholizadeh or torabi if fit a run in the team. Hazbavi omission looks more baffling now, he has to be the main CB going forward imo. For UAE Beiranvand, moharrami, kanaani, khalilzadeh, hajisafi// ghoddos, ezatolahi, ghayedi, gholizadeh or mohebi//, Taremi and azmoun up front.
Can we stop attacking Iran and judge. Top teams have bad days but we don’t sit there and analyse every mistake or decisions made. At the end of the day we are in Asian Cup and probably ranked 2nd overall. When the entire team, funding and decision making is controlled, why are we wasting our time analysing? The whole equation is wrong.

Iran should lose against UAE because the winner of group C will play Syria in the knockout stage then most likely play Japan whereas the runner of group C play against Tajikistan then Iraq in the quarter-final . what do you think ?
