Welcome back to Stick To Football with Gary Neville, Jamie Carragher, Jill Scott, Ian Wright and Roy Keane – the original show from the award-winning The Overlap, brought to you by Sky Bet.

We kick things off with the aftermath of Tottenham’s draw at Manchester United and how Gary caused a stir by arguing Spurs could finish above Liverpool by the end of the season whilst Roy remains unconvinced with the praise on Ange Postecoglou’s side.

The halfway point passed in the Premier League season, so we discuss who has been the best player as Jamie singles out Kevin de Bruyne as one of the best midfielders the competition has seen after his heroic return from injury when Manchester City overcame Newcastle.

Earlier this week Ian and Jill attended the FIFA The Best Awards and discussed whether Lionel Messi deserved his award of Men’s Player of the Year. We also relive Roy’s 2000 PFA Award ceremony and whether his teammates turned up and the politics behind voting procedures.

We discuss the latest on the Premier League charges on Everton and Nottingham Forest and what it will mean to both clubs and the impending hearing on Manchester City.

Super 6 also returns with Ben… has Roy managed to reduce the deficit or has Gary pulled further ahead?

And we end with your Community Question: Why has Erik Ten Hag not implemented a style of play at Manchester United yet?

  1. I love this series, but I wish the audio was better. When listening as a podcast it’s so hard to hear what’s being said at times.

  2. £60 for a trim… Gary simply doesn’t live in the real world. No wonder he’s got his political views. Always the same people completely detached from reality.

  3. Trump Politics? Ye say something and like?????? I’m a trump supporter and an Everton supporter so I’m just blown away by a statement like that! Go an do your best research on your words you have just lost your credibility with a load of bs like that? Ye obviously the type of mainstream media guy they love, uninformed and uninformed on THEIR opinions 😂

  4. if there is 120 charges why dont they bring forward 10 charges per season and fine them every season until all the charges are cleared. punish them over the next 5 seasoons rather than waiting

  5. Carragher -"Trump politics, where you say things and get people with you". That's called "campaigning" and no single candidate in history has been innocent of such tactics. Poor form to generalize that on one individual.

  6. 100% Haaland was the best player last year. City have wanted to win the CL for years. Couldn't do it. Bought him, and won the TREBLE with him scoring 52 gls and 9 assists on the way!! PSG bought Mbappe to win the CL, and for all the money he's demanded, he has produced it in almost 7 years! Haaland 100%!! And I'm an Utd supporter, so it pains me to say it.

  7. one of the best yet
Up there with the Becks interview – I absolutely loved this. Sorry Gary as well – England should've played 4231
    1. James 2, Neville 3 Cole 4 Rio 5 Terry —– 6 Carrick 8 Scholes
    —- 7- Beckham – 11 Lampard – 10 Gerrard – 9 Rooney 2006 WC

  8. I don't think ETH is a terrible inexperience young coach, the players and systems in Man Utd just so difficult for him to fix it. This group of players were not signed to play a particular system. The club has to back ETH and get rid of the players not committing. When the board is sorted, United can get a new coach that challenging for major titles. Now just let ETH keeping the standard high, let the club fix itself first.
