Are stuff getting leaked is a great thing hes showing West Ham to be very professional. This is the most professional our club has ever looked.
If Romano is only giving out done deals before they are officially announced, I don’t see the problem unless you work for the clubs social media team. Steidten wont be the source for every bit of info shared, and if Tim only sends the photo once done, much rather that than wait 2 days for a staged club video.

Spot on Geo. Selling has always been our big FUBAR under Sullivan. Now let's see early window arrivals too.
Encouraged by the speed and quick start to transfer window, hopefully more outgoings to follow too but dont want delays to new signings and a repeat of two years ago with ridiculous high profile bids at last minute – confident that Steidten will be better prepared and business like and has a realistic list of targets. Be good if business can be done in parallel and not sequentially.
I like the fact Romano is getting the exclusives from Tim and is completely independent.
Romano is the biggest ITK, the main man for all the big clubs.
In some way, I think it is great PR for West Ham and makes us more attractive to new players.

Shame he did not get more time on the pitch. I think he would have been good over time, especially if given a role as a back up for Alvarez as well as the CD and RB positions. But if Moyes did not want him this was the best decision (as David will get a year extension, minimum)
I think Scamacca could have been amazing but don't think Moyes was really into him so he was unhappy here now loving footie in Italy

Fofana could easily be another Kudus if we signed him. A different type of player, but someone that could double his value very quickly. I am very surprised he wasn't signed by another club last summer. I know Moyes refused him, even after his MOTM performance at the emirates against Arsenal, but I suspect that was more to do with the early friction between him and our Timmy. I wish Moyes could see past a team where Soucek was not such an integral cog. I'd put my neck out and say that Fofana is the complete midfielder and would improve our midfield tenfold.
Getting rid of Ings will be our biggest problem.
If Moyes wasn’t involved with the Ajax guys he’s got to be confident that Steidten knows what he’s doing … need more fast players
I really don’t understand your problem with TS leaking to FR? With Sullivan it’s not that he leaks (probably his age, poor old boy 🤣) it’s what he leaks. This sort of stuff can be positive, so I’m not against leaks, just negative leaks.
FR is deffo someone I want inside the tent spitting out, rather than outside the tent spitting in.
Everything TS has leaked has portrayed the club as successful, competent and going places, the exact opposite of Sullys shoot ourselves in the foot, look like a clown show leaks.
It really pays to do research before opening your mouth and letting your belly rumble.

Steidten's professionalism shines through. I saw Kehrer as CDM, but the damage had already been done. Steidten didn’t fail in Brazil the Russian part ownership was unforeseen which scuppered the deal
Geo … the reason why we end up selling way too many players at a loss is 100% down to Moyes as he destroys the players confidence, plays them out of position whilst he gives the squad players the cold shoulder as he has ZERO people skills. Moyes has no place in the modern game as the players of today are of a completely different breed of character , or as the old farts call them … WOKE … well guess what … that's what the world we live in nowadays so adapt or get left behind and the negative dinosaur got left behind years ago

I don’t have an issue leaking the Kehrer transfer. It lets the fans know we’re working the market early and that we’re not a train wreck in the back office anymore. As long as leaks are strategic, and not all of our business is given to the Romano’s of the world, then fine. It’s when all of the business is leaked that it becomes a problem.
Unlike Geo I blame Moyes not Sullivan for the fire sales of Vlasic and Haller and Anderson!l

best wishes to Kehrer , sorry it did not workout , Moyes realy does need players of equal ability so he can rotate then when we do sell , the players actualy hold there value .I get why he does not rotate but a fit Khrer or johnson must be a better option than a tired after 70mins player , sometimes its obvious a player is done for the game yet moyes leaves them on there, and thats what fans and squad players cant understand , but hey wtf do we mortals know lol… thats not a moyes out observation btw just one of his frustrating faults

Well said Geo. I don't like the club leaking stories to the media either. What's the point of a press/PR Department if we're going to by-pass them? Makes us look dodgy and a bit underhand in my opinion. The club should keep its stuff private until it's ready to go public and then do it through legit avenues. Keep it classy…like Hammers Chat!

the difference is steidten is the main guy doing business for the club, he isn't leaking to make deals harder for him or the club – tim is weaponising transfer rumours in favour for the club, not only can it be used to maximise deals but to get in front of bogus links/stories and take control of a narrative
it's not like he's trying to bring in cash in via patreon or massage his own ego
As our stature has increased it becomes a lot easier to sell our assets at a profit. The clubs with the money are interested in our backup sales now, might not have been a few years back
I agree with you on players that play abroad in say,French,Italian,German and Spanish leagues,I know very little of them,like you I have neither the time or appetite those leagues?I venture to say that is most of us unless it’s your job to analyse football teams/players etc

The players value has suffered under Moyes because he never improves players he plays most players in the wrong positions or doesn’t play them at all. With managers like PEP he keeps most players happy and their value increases.⚒
Until the training is unified we will not have youngsters that can be placed into the first team. And the problem all goes back to the inability to get fid of Moyes.⚒

Keher wasn't played in the position he played for Germany ie RWB. Surplus to requirements – so good decision to let him go. If Aguerd goes – and I wouldn't be sorry to see him go – we will need another CB. Zouma is broken and Oggy is 35 years of age. Moyes won't give Kasey or Laing a game so we will need to recruit. Kilman would be our best choice. 26 years of age, captain and helps with the homegrown quota. Will be very difficult to prise him away from Wolves though

Respect your thoughts Geo but I'm not sure we know enough to say the Brazil trip was a failure. 99% of Tim's job can be done online or by phone, he doesn't need to be there. Flying in the jet is just for show when the deals are done and for a bit of personal PR for Tim.
