Is Jordan Love a top 10 NFL quarterback?
Maga deal 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
There will be more answers next year when it cums to JL and ML. Go Pack Go, Go Cubs Go, Hey Chicago whatta ya say, the bears are will suck until they move. What QB wants to be in the Windy City?
Packers didn't lose to Kirk Cousins. They lost to Minnesota yes, but they actually knocked Cousins out of the game early and ended his season. Does that mean they escape the curse?
top 3 at the moment
These guys must be in Green Bay. They’re all wearing cold-weather caps. 😎
Drafting a 1st round talent in the back half of the first and let him watch a hall of famer work for two years.
Literally every team with a good QB should be doing this.
omg the hahaha to anytime a new qb goes near GB lol
That Cousins curse ain't real anymore since he did the SKOL thing shirtless. The curse turned inward and now only affects Minnesota.
I had alot of my buddies hating the love pick, they were all in on getting this one last piece for a championship run. The wr in round 1 tired narrative. I always believed the draft is for your future, packers werent drafting early in rounds so if they liked a qb and he was around when they draft go for it. We got alot of great wrs in rounds not named round 1, thats a better gm grade than grabbing 1st round wrs. But its never mentioned. I told my buddy to make believe jayden reed was a 1st if it helps you.
Also Favre, Rodgers and Love were all available to scoop up by almost every other team before Packers gambled on them
Tom Clements also developed K Murray in AZ. He is a true QB coaching genius. His 400k salary does not reflect his actual value. If Jerry Jones really wants another super bowl ring before he dies, he should pay Clements 5 million per year ( or more). And the packers should match or beat that offer for as long as they can.
Tom Clements. That's the answer to developing QB's into NFL QB's
I still think its to short of a time to know truly what we have in Jordan Love. After next season we will know.
This new CBA really killed the nfl middle class. It became too financially sensible to replace 2nd contract guys with first contact rookies and hoping for the best.
PACK DIDN"T get beat by Cousins, they injured him and RIP'd his career. Yep GB reversed the curse because they injured him and technically lost to the backup. The Packers reversed another curse because a YT channel That'sgoodsports, spins the curse wheel and whoever it's landed on this year has lost. It landed on GB for the dal game but they blew out Dal. They reversed that curse also.
H😅ly Crap
this is insane that they are “actually” talking football
i agree it was right decision but i always wonder if we would have drafted a receiver like ceedee lamb would we have won a SB?
The Packers lost to the vikings but Cousins tore his achilles and didn’t finish the game. Boo yah
The Packers went 9-8 with a first year starting QB with a strength of schedule at -0.76 That's right, -0.76 With Rodgers and the weak ass schedule they would have won 14 games this year. They added 7 new receivers this year. Something they never did in Favre or Rodgers time in GB.
Since 1993 packers have been around we don't win like patriots but we aren't the browns
I wanted love in the draft but i will admit it was only bc of his last name and i thought it would be a sick jersey for packers with love on the back for probably cheap, it wasnt about football and i was hoping it was 2nd or 3rd lol.
I’m not saying jlove is a hof player yet. But he’s a damn good qb and definitely the best qb since week 11. His team has been injured all season so he never got reps with a full strength offense. Not to mention they’re all first and second years. That says a lot about the packers. He’s doing that well with rookies and second years. Give him respect, and he’s gonna be a great qb in gb. I’m also biased for the packers.
Rodgers was always changing the play that Lafleur called, the Packers let him go for a reason. I will never forget in the 2020 playoff game against the 49ers with the score 10-10 with about 3 or 4 minutes to go with a 3rd and 11 Rodgers ignored a wide open Allan Lazard and threw a long bomb to his buddy Davante Adams that was covered like a blanket and it fell incomplete.
So he has half a dozen good games and therefore the packers were right? Hilarious analysis.
Oh man, your bald dude clearly does not like the Packers and doesn't want to entertain the thought that they're a genuine Super Bowl contender this year. It's always funny to see someone's fandom right there on their sleeve.
One day far in the future we’ll be pissed at the Green Bay Packers for picking Jordan Love’s successor in the 1st round
It was a terrible decision. Regardless of how good Love is or becomes, they wasted superbowl opportunities by not supporting the current teams.
L take. You can't say that recruiting a new QB didn't hurt GB because they made the playoffs. Imagine if that money went to starting WR instead of drafting a new bench warmer. I'm a packers and a Love fan, but you can't say they wouldn't have done better if they spent the money to stack talent for playoff years.
A list of QB's that have started/had early time in their careers with GB over the past 35 or so years.
Brett Favre
Aaron Brooks
Mark Brunnel
Ty Detmer
Kurt Warner
Aaron Rodgers
Matt Flynn
Matt Hasselbeck
Taysom Hill
Jordan Love
actually we (packers) lost to the back up due to cousins not finishing that game because of his injury
love sucks
Packers screwed up with Rodgers. Drafting Love wasn’t that bad, but they clearly consistently disrespected Rodgers over a long period of time and wasted his career and skills.
on its own the love pick is fine and kudos to Rodgers for helping him out instead of taking it out on him. And more franchises should learn from this and not start a guy from day 1. You’re never gonna get a chance to have them learn from a guy like Rodgers, but for example Panthers should have started a journeyman Fitzmagic kinda guy over Bryce a year or two ago
This part is completely wrong tho. Green bay did go to the nfc championship but having Jordan Love on the rosters completely cost them a chance at a superbowl. Anytime 1 of your 53 man roster is injured or a healthy scratch that totally effect who you are putting on the field. If they had picked a #1 wr then there are total expectations they might have won those games. It might be the right decision now but was a bad decision then.
