  1. I love Johnson and wish it would of worked out but I just don’t think he’s good enough. People say he’s put in some good performances lately but I’m not seeing what they’re seeing. Think he’d be a good championship player and I hope he does well

  2. I believe Ben Johnson is a good squad player because of his versatility, he just hasn’t had the opportunity to improve with regular appearances or coaching, being continually left on the bench with no hope of rotation isn’t ideal for someone who is still learning to stake a claim on a position within the team.

  3. I think Sullivan is turning the club into the Brighton model. That's all very well for Sullivan and the rest of the Board because they will make plenty of money but, we will never be more than a mid table club run by a mid table manager at best. I think this is the project that Tim is talking about: buy in and sell on for a massive profit This is how he has managed to entice players like Kudus and Alvarez

  4. I'm also a BenJo supporter. Maybe there's a compromise from WHU and BJ on salary. Maybe £40/45k per wk would work rather than £60k. So long as Moyes will rotate him, then he should absolutely stay. His replacement will most likely cost more!

  5. Vlad isn’t dynamic In terms of mobility but he does keep the ball moving forward. Johnson stops play to look around and make a decision. Not his fault necessarily because he doesn’t know his teammates well in the game, but I do think there’s evidence that he plays that way regardless of. Like Ings, this is probably not the system for Ben. And definitely not for 60 grand a month.

  6. Connor Gallagher, Broja, massively overrated and even more overvalued. Rumours like that do not excite me. There will be better players out there for less money as like Kudus. Agree about Johnson.

  7. As a guy, who is currently watching Osman struggling for full game time in a league, where Trott is thriving… he is not ready, I promise you all

  8. We really should up our interest in Jon Rowe. When Norwich played my home city Hull the other day my friend offered me his ticket cause he was busy so I went to the game after work and saw Rowe live. For a 20 year old he is class. Very skillful with the ball at his feet and he works really hard. All game he was pressing non stop and tracking back to help out.
He would be a big boost for us with all our injuries. We should offer Norwich 20 million for him.

  9. Honestly im good with any of the players we are linked with. Im waiting for Timmy and a jet pic. But if we get someone homegrown, im expecting Gonzo with a Van pic.😅 COYI

  10. Ben Johnson is certainly worth keeping due to his versatility, although whether he’s content with being just a squad player himself remains to be seen. I’m not convinced he is, but that’s his right to choose.

Not convinced with that young winger though. Even when I watched clips of him on YouTube he doesn’t look quite ready for the step up, yet. One to watch potentially for the future though.

We need more players ready to play now rather than a couple of years time.

Hopefully Moyes and Tim deliver as we need at least 2-3 in.

  11. If West ham have better plans for all the young Ghanaian players you've mentioned, it will be a huge benefit for the team.Nuamah of Lyon,Kamaldeen of Southampton are both players that could become a huge prospect if managed by good/experienced manager, these 2 players have tough mentality, amazing talents.Osman to me nead more time to gain that level of toughness

  12. I think Ben Johnson will be a premier league player. He is solid, reasonably fast and adaptable. He will be sought after.

The problem he faces is getting regular 1st team football because he is so useful as a squad player. I can see why he wants to leave for his career to move ahead.

  13. Johnson is versatile in that he's not quite a LB or RB. He's well off a MF or CB. Jack of all trades, master of none.
We all love an Academy player but move him on.

  14. You need to look at Levi Garcia from AEK Athens. He is literally Michail Antonio 2.0! Look at his highlights and you will see. We need our scouts to check him out!!
