  1. This season Barcelona have hardly used a 4 man midfield. If it has anything to do with creativity barcelona have created the most chances in Laliga this season. Lewandowski is just washed. Has nothing to do with Xavi.

  2. 1. We have one of the most chances created, so his finishing is clearly very bad
    2. Lewandowski apoligised to his teammates (and Lamine Yamal) for his behaviour
    3. Injuries and the lack of depth in midfield has affected the contribution and amount of touches in the game
    4. The loss of Dembele and Xavi starting Joao Felix over Ferran Torres (who is way better) have also contributed to his bad form
    5. Vitor Roque signed way before Lewandowski had this terrible form
    6. Barcelona have rarely used the 4 man midfield, preffering to play with a back 3 midfield 3 and 2 strikers and 1 winger and 1 wingback:

  3. The Athletic, when it comes to Barcelona, are absolutely trash. Literally none of what you say here is true. Also, Pol Ballus might be one of the worst football writers
