How much pressure is on USMNT and Gregg Berhalter heading into Copa America?
We need the key players to show up and be the world class footballers they are. By footballer I mean a game where a you kick a round-shape ball.
These "experts" talk about the US making a deep run, semis even, but what they are forgetting is that, regardless if they finish 1st or 2nd in the group, they will have to face either Brasil or Colombia, two superior teams with better individual talent and more importantly, they DON'T have Gregg Belhalter as their coach!
USA hasn't surpassed Mexico…..They like to think that, but Mexico still dominates Concacaf with so many more titles won than the US will ever have. Zero world class players but yet they think they are better than Mexico.
I agree that this is definitely a huge measuring stick for Gregg to keep his job. Seems like he is being treated like a brand new coach who needs "time do adapt". If he does poorly , would be wise to find A real coach
