He over performed last season hes above average but that last season was out of his normal performances
Great video. Here goes: Diagnosis: Martinelli like most of the arsenal players are being overcoached by Arteta to the point they are not sure which option to take when they get the ball these days hence the over passing infront of goal n sideways football just to control the game.
Solution: Release him. Once upon a time a certain young french winger came to arsenal and after a few shaky seasons Le Professor recognised his speed, agility and skill and turned him into a striker…the rest is history…Ps if you're still unsure about all this, go back and watch the goal Martinelli scored against Chelsea from taking the ball inside his own half… case solved!!!
Like most of the team, Martinelli is overcoached to the point of ridiculousness.
