Mate, I read the title and thought it was Man utds keeper…. who gave away a handball 😅
Mic'd up! How VAR and Webb are ruining our beloved game.
VAR has got to improve🤕
Gotta respect match officials for displaying and explaining why it is a penalty or not haha
Come on then Howard, what about Romero handball Vs United at the start of the season?
The Michael Owen softball show. Howard Webb getting an easy ride for the endless incompetence he oversees.
I thought it was gonna be Andre Onana but then he struggles to handle the ball anyway
I just don't understand how that's a pen but the United Vs spurs one wasn't. The inconsistency is so annoying
Var check "it's man city we can't give up our paid salaries in Saudi Arabia" ok decision made pen to man city thank you.
That shot is going into row z
The first assistant referee is jokes😭
‘It’s a handball for me, he’s saved it’
Same old city…. getting bumlicked again by the Fa…. they can't do anything fairly can they…. as a Liverpool fan they should of lost that game…. before people cry and moan…. quite frankly go ahead 😂
Imagine being a prem ref going into your annual appraisal meeting trying to justify that you achieved expectations
What a load of sh|te. The arm was not ABOVE the head which is what the VAR literally said out loud when feeding back.
Onana was SO CLOSE to the ball and it was struck at him at pace. There's no chance for him to move. Seems to me that the City players crowding the referee – which the replay doesn't (conveniently) show – played a part in the ref giving the decision.
It kind of hits his chest and his arm. But it just looks like it’s handball, tough to argue that it isn’t!
Like Webb said “there’s lots of controversy if we DON’T give this one”
WHATS THE POINT OF THESES VIDEOS IF THEYRE JUST AGREEING WITH THE REFS
Key question. Where was his arm supposed to be?
From now on playes will have to make slide takes/ blocks with their hands by their sides or hands in their imaginary pockets
They dont understand, its the speed of the dodgy in favor of City decisions,
Its make the decision asap and run with it
VAR first comment should have been , too close as per all the Arsenals and Liverpool handballs we have not given for that same infringement interpretations
Ball kicked very fast at defender moving, no clear ball to hand in this case, zero ball to hand movement
To be consistent with the rest of the season, ,NO PENALTY
Your over reacting on field Ref,
But no its, lets talk twaddle and take the money and run
Some teams get them ahem, some teams don`t ahem ahem.
Provide ‘officials audio’ during the game, once decision made play back the audio to the audience at home like in formula 1, the fans will have a greater insight and maybe more sympathy than keeping everything so secretive and out of reach.
High above his head …. It's over his face and Webb doesn't understand the mechanics of the human body, where do you want his hand to go.
Was the shot going on target. No. Was the arm in a natural position. Yes. No pen
CORRUPTION. Straight away away we've the VAR cronies saying Pen before the decisions were made. Compare this to Arsenal vs Liverpool. Whats the difference? City owners give out nice 1st class trips to PL referees to officiate midweek games in the UAE for massive fees compared to their PL jobs.. But a conflict of interest? Not for Howard Webb.
Blocking a shot towards goal? It was going miles over!
Bloody joke.
Absolute nonsense. But hey its City isnt it, and everyone is terrified to upset them. As for Owen if i was stuck on a desert island with him and a tin of corned beef, id eat him and talk to the corned beef
If everything was consistent LFC would have 5 more points and City would have 2-4 points less.
This whole thing is a complete embarrassment.
Football isn’t about the referee’s they’ve now get more air time than the footballers. Mental game
The ball wasn't even going towards the goal?
They say the arm is above the head when the image shows it clearly wasn’t
"Lots of controversy if we don't give this"… because it's Man City
