Teun Koopmeiners is reportedly a target for Juventus. Koopmeiners’ agent has opened his voice regarding rumors of the Bianconeri’s interest in his client.
Teun Koopmeiners has become a pillar of Atalanta’s midfield this season. This Dutch player has developed rapidly since joining La Dea in 2021 from AZ Alkmar in 2021.
Koopmeiners has scored six goals and four assists in all competitions this season. His neat appearance reportedly attracted the interest of a number of big clubs to recruit him.
One of the clubs that is widely linked with this 25 year old midfielder is Juventus. However, Atalanta doesn’t seem to want to let Koopmeiners go for a cheap price. They reportedly priced the midfielder at 60 million euros.
Koopmeiners agent, Bart Baving, opened his mouth about rumors of interest in his client. He admitted that Juventus had indeed approached Koopmeiners but that happened when he was still in the AZ uniform. However, currently there have been no concrete steps for the Old Lady to recruit Koopmeiners.
“Yes, I know that Juventus really admires him. I spoke with Giuntoli when Teun was still playing for AZ Alkmaar,” said Bart Baving to Calciomercato.
“However, currently there has been no contact. The two clubs must talk to each other first,” he explained.
