A clinical performance from Oxford United as they bounced back after a tough week which saw them knocked out of the FA Cup and Football League Trophy. It was a long way to Carlisle, but OUFC got the win. It finished Carlisle United 1-3 Oxford United. Please enjoy my review of this Sky Bet League One game.
It’s actually back to back away wins in EFL League One for Oxford Utd, but that win against Charlton seems a long time ago. Carlisle are struggling in the league, but looked the more likely to get a goal in the first half, but after failing to clear a corner Oxford took the league and it was Mark Harris who fired the U’s in front. Things got worse for the Cumbrians after the break as Mark Harris scored again, but there was more of a hint of offside about it. Tyler Goodrham then celebrated a new contract with a wonderful third goal and Oxford fans were going crazy as the closed in on a win. CUFC rallied though and got a goal back through Alfie McClarmont but lacked the conviction to make a comeback. Oxford win, and Oxford United fans celebrate a win on the long journey home

Hi Ian am not happy mate I never saw you yesterday. Yes it's practically a home game for me. Lmao. On Thursday last week I picked my team and subs for yesterday game. And the only 1 I didn't get right was James Henry on the bench I had Billy Bodin. But every other player I got right. I agree with everything you said in the summary the first 38 mins or so was so slow. But it's weird how we started to pass quicker when we went 1 up. I have seen our second it looked offside to me I was waiting for the linesman to flag. I think that if Carlisle are more composed in front of goal they will be OK it seems like they panic a bit. But the only thing I am intreasted in is us. Good win could have been tricky and good luck to Carlisle for the rest of the season
