No, Duke is not better without Proctor. These hot take headlines are not doing y'all any favors.
The speaker on the right is correct. Duke has depth and different guys are stepping up when we're playing poorly. That's been Mark Mitchell the past two games.
Proctor was off last night but had a great game against Syracuse in his second game back from injury. In 27 minutes, he had 14 pts, 4 assists, 2 turnovers, 5-7 FG (2-4 from three).

Jeremy Roach will always be better off not being the primary ball handler. We already spent waaaay to muc time last season trying to make pure point guard Roach happen.
Duke didn't play well but….people forget already Notre Dame BEAT UVA BY 20 POINTS A WEEK AGO…….given that as a Duke fan I'll take an 8 point victory all day 😉

Roach and McCain are better than Proctor this year healthy or not. The question is Foster or Proctor for the 3rd starting guard? Does it matter? Both have been good at times but wildly inconsistent. The number of minutes will vary depending on who's playing better any given game.
