  1. I was actually at this game so managed to get a first hand opinion for once.
Felt the defence showed promise with Hanley and Duffy.
The front is getting predictable as they all have the same tricks and I picked that up in 20 minutes.
No idea why we sat so deep, keeping no one up when Southampton had corners.
Press was weak and just invited pressure.

We had the better chances somehow still even with all the possession Southampton had so maybe a draw was fair especially counting that disallowed goal.

  2. I'd have taken that to be fair, the way Southampton are playing it's a good result after Millwall and West brom

    Good summary as always

  3. I'm afraid I go against the opinion that every player in this team is playing for Wagner . Barnes was quite willing to reduce us to 10 men v Millwall .Thats playing for your manager isn't it ! Sainz needlessly got sent off v WBA . Again thats playing for your manager isn't it . This team is not united and there has been other examples aswell .Maclean has never trusted our centre halves all season and has dropped back during games and just got in the way and hey strangely enough he's then actually starting games there . Might have done well there , but again not really uniting with certain players . Too many examples to say this whole team is playing for the manager .So don't kid us , because we would be doing so much better if every player was playing for Wagner .

  4. It was a good point, but does not encourage supporters to turn up as it’s not entertaining. Season Ticket renewals will be out soon, let’s see what happens.

  5. You didn't mention the penalty shout when Rowe was clearly bundled over from behind. It was 100% a penalty. We had the better opportunities but often the final ball didn't find a yellow shirt. Positives all round. For once DW got the team selection and subs spot on. I never want to see Barnes play again now we have Adam, Josh and Hwang.

  6. I feel Wagner had a plan, which was executed and worked well. You have to give him credit for that, a team unbeaten now in 18 and coming off a 5-0 win. We did well.

  7. What's the plan Ben Knapper??? Coz this group have enough talent to be top end play offs. Had enough of how our board are so damn concerned with DWs wellbeing and stability in his employment rather than the direction and performance of the team. Decent result today but the overall performance was so poor and rudderless in posession. Well played Sarge for the fine finish 🇺🇸🫡

  8. Deserved the applause at the end and I went home happy with the point. Good managers find a way of getting points against good teams ,brave to adopt the tactics today, but it worked. As for waiting for the summer for Any possible changes then why would the club not do exactly that ? It's what worked before in 2017 when Webber took a sledge hammer to the squad we sold our best players to slash wages and fund spending of replacements , and as I recall it all worked out rather well
