  1. People will disagree with me but i will pick Smith over Hayden…. Smith scored lots of run overseas against quality attack… He run those as a captain too… Hayden is right up there too

  2. Hayden is a great opening batsman…. I have ever seen…
But Smith style and always play in pressure conditions… A great captain….
I would say tough competition…. Both are great on their own way

  3. Hayden was aggressive.. Smith was classy.
Both are greats..very difficult to choose one from them but maybe I'll have to say Smith for me as he was the captain of his side for a long time and justified his role Perfectly throughout his career in the pressure of captaincy.

  4. Smith was a good batsman and Leader. His captaincy record is totely Outstanding .If Smith was there in the 2015 World Cup, South Africa would have been a definite World Cup champion.🫡

  5. Yeah Hayden had the better technique and runs all over the world against both pace and spin.
He also had an elegant brutality about him. That stroll down the wicket is still an iconic shot many try to copy.
