As a United fan, what's "old hat" is seeing the talented group of players have a poor attitude and just blaming the manager. It's the culture of the club to accept complacency and fear expectation. I don't blame Ten Hag much for that. If he gets sacked so be it, but it won't make much difference. INEOS resetting the culture and establishing ambition and discipline will.

I would have just played Mctomminay in place of Hojlund. Keep rashy and garny same as the position vs Villa. That would be much much better because we know Mctomminay can be a target man in the box but absolutely not good at being a defensive midfield. Funny the thing about Injuries. I mean come on newcastle arent doing well for exactly this reason regarding so many injuries. When you have a squad of 25 and 8-10 have reguarly been out including some important first team players it does take its toll in the end. Both Ten Hag and Howe have been dealing with very unlucky injuries. Yet all you hear from pundits here is that it doesnt matter.
