  1. He wasn’t better than Saliba, Van Dijk and Deigo Carlos that month. Him getting that award is hilarious. He played well for a month in the last 2 years and you say he’s made a come back?

  2. I think his output has been blown out of proportions. He’s been decent, it’s just so big of a difference compared to how he’s been for like 2 years. It’s ridiculous that someone playing 6/10 on a more consistent basis is being championed at this level.

  3. Ten hag has a dilemma. Maguire is good against opponents who play slow. Like in the Liverpool match, Ten hag dropped him and played Varane. If just Maguire learns to play faster opponents and if he joins up to play with Varane, United can push for top 3 position in PL. Their defence is probably complete.

  4. Love this video, no nonsense, no opinonated long yapping, quick and straight to the point. Very respectful approach for both the player and the viewers 🔥🔥🔥🔥💕💕

  5. He won the award in a month where; Man Utd beat 3 bottom half teams without conceding while getting hammered in the UCL by Copenhagen and Galatasaray. This award was pretty much just a joke.

  6. I’m worried for Maguire. He’s injured right now so he’ll probably get back into the team around when Lisandro gets back as well. I hope he continues his flying form so he stays as a starter. Imagine Lisandro and Maguire. It would be great, especially for Maguire so now he’s not playing with an either a player who should’ve retired 2 years ago, a player getting forced out of the club so has no confidence, and somebody who can’t make a pass to save his life.

  7. I mean, can you blame him? He's playing for ManU.
Sanchez, Di Maria, Lukaku, Sancho, Zaha, Depay, you can go back to even Forlan; Maguire is just another one of the many victims of ManU, the #1 team in the world when it comes to destroying the potential of world class players.

  8. Maguire was never a bad player. I remember he was amazing in Leister. But he suffered from lack of extraordinary mental resilience, which is absolutely required when you're playing for a popular premiere league team. The same is true for De Gea and Lingard to some extend, IMO.
Every player makes mistakes, especially defenders. How they cope with those mistakes is what separates men from the boys. Maguire made defensive mistakes, couldn't handle the pressure and the memes, and spiraled downwards. A resourceful player would meditate, focus, and bounce back.
And he only improved were the pressure was externally lifted by moving to another club. At this point I think it's too soon to say if he has actually improved until he makes a few mistakes again.
