Patson Daka is a poor shout. He’s doing decent in the championship but that’s his level unfortunately. He’s just not got the quality needed for the prem as shown last year. Also he’s at African cup of nations in January and February so who’s going to buy him knowing he may miss a load of games.
Ivan Toney would be a great signing for Arsenal. However, Brentford is struggling, and Ivan will be a bit rusty due to a lack of games for this season. I can't see Brentford selling him until the summer of 2024. I could be wrong, but from my opinion, Ivan Toney would guarantee Brentford's survival.

as an arsenal fan, what i realistically see happening is new defender coming in, probably on a loan deal due to ffp. we are short on numbers at the back given timber's season ending injury and tomiyasu's never ending injury list, excluding soares who has been marked surplus for a while we have 6 defenders, another is needed. depressingly we need goals and we need a midfield upgrade on the injury prone partey, jorginho, and elneny. so in an ideal world we'd spend 200 mil on inacio, zubimendi and either martinez or osimhen. but not gonna happen.
Ivan Toney is nearly 28 and spent the majority of his career playing in League 1 and League 2, wasted last 8 months for being greedy and stupid. How is he considered an elite, top of the top player is beyond me.
