The clubs appalling standards was the problem Ronaldo had with the club. It didn’t align with his own high standards. When he came back the 2nd time he’s realised that United has not progressed as a club. They still had the same facilities and their standards and expectations were very low. He obviously pointed this out to the dressing room and the manager etc and they probably didn’t like that so they kicked him out of the club and made him the scapegoat. Ronaldo was never the problem.
