England defender John Stones says Harry Kane is every bit as important a player as Man City star Erling Haaland.

Stones has the pleasure of playing with both on a regular basis for both his club and national team.

Ahead of England’s World Cup 2022 knockout fixture against Senegal, the defender praised his captain.

“Players like those two, their quality always shines through,” Stones said.

“They’re both incredible players and incredible within their own rights. Harry has always been incredible to play with and I’m sure he’ll get on the scoresheet soon.”

  1. England lost the Euros bc in the second half they reverted back to long ball ⚽️ hoofing it up the field so we had a lot less possession which allowed the Italians to have possession and more chances to score . Throughout the competition we didn’t use the old school English long ball strategy and got to the final but at the last leg we reverted to long ball and lost. So I suggest you keep the ball on the ground with more possession to win the World Cup .
