Tottenham Hotspur 2-1 Everton was the scoreline from their Premier League clash at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium as Son Heung-Min (์†ํฅ๋ฏผ) and Richarlison bagged the goals for Spurs and the Toffees scored through Andre Gomes.

But after the game there has been one agenda – that Spurs got lucky and that Big Ange Postecoglou’s style of football is too attacking at the end of games. talkSPORT’s Jamie O’Hara was worried about this.

But Tottenham see themselves in the top 4 and Champions League places over Christmas just behind Aston Villa, Liverpool and Arsenal and just ahead of Manchester City – so are we in the PL title race?

But was there luck at play? There were two balls on the pitch when Vitaliy Mykolenko struck a shot, Emerson Royal was fouled in the build up to a disallowed Everton goal from Dominic Calvert-Lewin and they also hit the post and had one cleared off the line.

Guglielmo Vicario was the man of the match (MOTD) and made some vital saves to keep Tottenham in it.

But after watching the highlights on Match of the Day (MOTD) you would have thought Everton had won!

Let me know your reactions!

Ange Postecoglou’s squad includes Guglielmo Vicario, Pedro Porro, Ben Davies, Cristian Romero, Destiny Udogie, Emerson Royal, Yves Bissouma, Pierre-Emile Hojberg, Dejan Kulusevski, Bryan Gil, Brennan Johnson, Son Heung-Min (์†ํฅ๋ฏผ) Richarlison and Pape Matar Sarr, Jamie Donley, Alfie Dorrington

Spurs’ injury list now contains the likes of Ivan Perisic, Giovani Lo Celso, Manor Solomon, James Maddison, Micky van de Ven, Ryan Sessegnon, Ashley Phillips and Rodrigo Bentancur.

  1. Ange ball is the way forward.
If we go back to parking buses then we should just give up on anything.
If we had a full squad we would be top of the league

  2. @Sonny, I subscribed to your excellent channel coz your comments were sensible AND interesting. I'm now of the opinion you are spending FAR too much time in your day job in the company of that idiot Rory Jennings๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚. Too risky? How, precisely. Picking a majority of the last few seasons' old guard and getting outplayed coz they are unable to play Angeball which the rest of the team are playing? Royal was a foul, all day and every day into the future: the problem was not VAR but the ref refusing to do HIS JOB. Napoleon once said he preferred lucky generals and yes, we rode our luck yesterday, but no not too risky.

  3. Certainly didnโ€™t deserve to lose, but the reality is the last premier league title we won was in 1961, the last trophy 2014. Iโ€™d rather watch this form of exciting football and not win anything than see them parking the bus and winning nothing.

  4. It can be risky against certain opposition, Everton surprisingly have a lot of fire power and are very direct ,we concede chances yes but not our best team and we can concede less if we balance our squad more, but vicario is a beast for us ๐Ÿ™Œ

  5. You rather play this style of play and risk it all then any other way. Big Ange is here to win trophies not just to make up the numbers so like anything in life there are big risks involved to achieve this outcome.

  6. Luc k comes when preparation meets opportunity. Ange's style is risky but it's worth it. Parking the bus is just not the Spurs style under ANY CIRCUMSTANCES and lets keep in mind to hit the post or the bar is a MISS, a close miss but still a miss. And when it's said "if it wasn't for your goalie" for goodness sake the goalie is part of the team it's his job to save the ball and we have one of the best in the game. I reckon we could win the cup and Mr Ladbroke will be hearing from me soon

  7. I think we were lucky,a team with better decision in the final third would have hurt us yesterday, personally I think sometimes we have to do wats necessary to see off the game
