Liverpool versus Arsenal match. Starting with Alisson, he had a bit of a shaky start but made up for it with some impressive saves throughout the game, earning him a 6/10 rating. Trent Alexander-Arnold, known for his audacious long balls, didn’t have all of them come off, but his stunning assist for Salah’s equalizer was a perfect example of why he kept trying, earning him a 7/10. Ibrahima Konate started off in a poor position for the early goal but responded with an enormous performance, constantly bullying Martinelli, earning him a solid 8/10. Virgil van Dijk, with his great positioning and authoritative performance against Saka, earned himself a respectable 7/10. Kostas Tsimikas appeared to suffer a serious shoulder injury in a collision with Klopp, which at first seemed comical before it became clear that he was actually hurt, resulting in a 6/10 rating. Wataru Endo had a really classy performance at the base of midfield, probably his best outing in a Liverpool shirt, earning him an impressive 8/10. Dominik Szoboszlai had another quiet performance, struggling to get involved and making a handful of inexplicably poor passes, resulting in a mediocre 5/10. Curtis Jones looked comfortable and composed at both ends of the pitch, doing his job without really standing out, earning him a decent 6/10. Mohamed Salah, on the other hand, had another emphatic performance, mauling Zinchenko for the equalizer and earning him a well-deserved 7/10. Sadly, Cody Gakpo barely got involved in Liverpool’s moves forward and struggled against Saliba and Gabriel, earning himself a disappointing 4/10. Lastly, Luis Diaz was too predictable, with Arsenal quickly realizing his intentions of cutting inside, resulting in very few issues stopping him and a 5/10 rating.
