That Suarez season was incredible for sure, but it was one season. Don't think that makes him desrrve a spot over others like Bergkamp who were consistently great across many seasons.
In a modern team it would be a front 4 of Suarez, Henry, Salah, Bergkamp. Trent inverts into midfield.

As a Liverpool I still really like Bergkamp. But I like fabregas a little more so I'd have him over Bergkamp in midfield and suarez up top. Although they're all quality players and I wouldn't really argue too much with either of their XI's
Putting Bergkamp in midfield is a madness and no way is suarez above him ….Bergkamp has 3 premier league trophies and 4 FA cups …there is no comparing

GK: Allison: Seaman was great, but would have Allison all day. Anyone having Seaman over Allison has recency bias
RB: Trent: Lauren is in contention as well as Lee Dixon, but Trent virtually changed how people view right backs. Now playing the inverted role, and he's still got potential
CB: Tony Adams: He was a monster and intimidating during his prime.
CB: VVD: Can't argue that VVD during his prime (2018-2021) was the arguably top 3 centerback during the 2010-2020 era. Sol is a contender, but VVD during those 3 years was better.
LB: Ashely Cole: As good as Robertson has been, Cole was just on another planet.
CDM: Viera: Monster of a defensive mid and intimidating. Also the only one who actually liked a fight against roy keane.
CM: Gerrard: For that real center mid role, Gerrard is too good to leave out. An underrated shoutout is Fabregas. People forget how good Fabregas was at Arsenal, but for me, it's Gerrard
CM/CAM: Coutinho. As a neutral, he would sometimes not seem present during the game. And then all of a sudden, he would have spells in the game where he was untouchable. Such a fun player to watch and no doubt the CAM people would want during his prime
RW: Salah: no debate here
ST: Henry: No debate here either
LW: Mane: Mane in his prime was just as enchanting to watch than Salah. Obviously Salah became better but there was a time when both were neck to neck for a long time. Underrated. Overmars, Pires, and Limpar were good shoutouts, but Mane was so much more direct and dangerous.
This is my view as a neutral, but lmk if I overlook anyone

Crazy Pires was not even mentioned. First inverted winger in the prem era and first player who delivered striker numbers from that position. Also you can‘t get Bergkamp or Fabregas out of the team, Suarez was not long enough in this league to be in there. And the full-back position is maybe the hardest to be compared through different eras. Back then Trent wouldn‘t get in any team as a right back. I would take Lauren, because he was not as bad going forward as Trent is defensively.

If one season is enough to get a player on an all-time XI, then the entire invincibles team deserves to get into the XI because that one season was better than any other liverpool player's entire career. Suarez is an all-time great but misses out in this one.

Suarez over fabregas for sure… Suarez getting overlooked and underrated because he didn’t have the longevity at Liverpool.. but he was a beast, and any team would’ve taken him, even in bergkamp era!
