The best team “technically” that we have had as far as USMNT however there is nowhere near enough goals as much as like josh sargent is not a top number 9. He’s done at well in thr championship however he had only a handful of games that he played well in the premier league for Norwich
Even peafock I wouldn’t say would help us fare much better. So with that in mine who’s gonna score the goals
Don't even play a true 9 put a guy like Weah as false 9. Then have your best guys around him. Pulisic Aaronson Musah Mckinnie Adam's. Gio as the super sub.
Remind me, how many goals did Josh Sargent score in the Premier League last year? Good form in the championship means little if he can't step up to the next level. The world cup is stepping up 2 or 3 levels.
American Southgate and his player selections!!😂😂 saying this as an American!!
The most talented forwards are Jozy Altidore and Jordan Pefok.
I like Sargent but if he was that good, he would have won the job during qualifying. Striker is probably the weakest position on the field for us.
Americans🤦🏻♂️
Sargent in form is our best 9.
Gotta remember Haji is also being managed by Nuri Sahin. I imagine Gregg has had conversations with Nuri about Haji's qualities. Also Pefok doesn't speak any English. The only player he can communicate with is Tim Weah in French.
they are getting too caught up in where these guys are playing, they should focus on their abilities. Haji definitely passes the eye test and is extremely talented. he's a late bloomer that is finally playing to his potential. absolutely giving teams nightmares with his height, power, and speed
This World Cup is a tryout for Sargent
That is an awful lot of discussion whether to start the 190th best striker, the 200th, or the guy at 220.
Pefok deserved to be on this roster.
GGG doesn't like Americans that don't speak English.
Well duh, of course it matters who've they played against and in which leagues. "2 tournaments" Wales & English players mostly play in EPL. that's why Ream is in (among other reasons).
No way he’s the most talented
Sargent vs Wales and England, Ferreira vs Iran, Haji as the last 30 change of speed.
Sargent is the most well-rounded striker and also the most physical. Haji is tall but easily pushed off the ball.
I would've taken Dike over Ferreira.
Ricardo pepi will be leader and eligible for under 21 world cup
The most talented is Gio Reyna and the worst is Roldan
I think he will start Ferreira but if he plays poorly Sargeant will get the spotlight
Pefok needed to be on the roster
No Landon Donovan?
Pefok, then Pepi, then B. Vasquez, then Wright …ggg is sus af
Pefok… Pepi… oh wait, that's right. We got Gregg in charge. Smdh
They should play Weah at the 9 so both him and Reyna can play
@5:27 In non-linear sports, you don't match like for like if you want to break down somebody's defense. You do the opposite. Haji Wright isn't going to do jack shat against England especially. Their defenders see bigger faster attackers than Wright on the regular.
Josh "Ronald McDonald" Sargent: The hope of the american fans!! What a 🤡😂😂😂
Sebi, can you stfu when someone else is talking? cott dayumn, let herc get his words out so we can hear them
When the US in need of a number 9 the most, both Pepi and Pefok were snubbed. Thats strange…
stick with nfl cte concussion running through a brick wall sport
Jordan Morrs, Roldan and Aaron Long do not deserve to be on this team
Now they're wearing LGBTHIV colors in the badge?
Soccer is truly for beta males.
I hope this club loses every match.
Landon Donovan can put on cleats and do better than Ferreira would.
I hope Ferreira silences me but it won’t happen.
