Wigan boss Roberto Martinez believes Saturday’s late 2-1 defeat at Chelsea could not have been much crueller. The Latics went behind to a first half goal from Branislav Ivanovic, who was clearly in an offside position. Wigan equalised late on through Mohamed Diame but Juan Mata struck the winner in injury time after Fernando Torres hit the post.
