      Why had nobody noticed just how far Pickford was off his line for the penalty save? I thought we needed one foot over the line? Are we not enforcing rules anymore?

      Winning a cup will always be an achievement, whether it's a champions league or league cup. Only spoilt fans, mostly "new" fans (as opposed to "legacy" fans), will dismiss that kind of achievement. Those of us playing in amateur leagues will always have that drive to win a cup. And it transfers to the teams we support. If Talksport was less "big club centric" then this narrative would be more balanced and realistic. Instead, you get lunatic fans and pundits saying things like they'd rather get into champions league vs win the FA Cup and I find that delusional and not at all representative of the average fan's feeling towards it

      ‘Arteta won the FA Cup and went backwards’ – This is the same Arsenal that finished 2nd last year, currently sit 1st in the PL now and are back in the champions league. Talksport are the masters of making idiotic statements

      If the name would have been " Kristen Tripersen " ( read any non -british player )instead of Trippier , the media would have absolutely destroyed him .the discrimination is just off the charts !
