Raul Jimenez has found his scoring form again as Fulham turn red hot in the Premier League with back-to-back 5-0 wins. Sebastian Salazar and Herculez Gomez wonder if the scoring streak will last, and what it might mean for the Mexican national team.

  1. I think the goals are also partly due to that his general play and integration within Marcos system has been progressively better during this season. He was invisible at the beginning, then leading up to the games with goals we were seeing improved hold up and link up play.

  2. It was going to take time for his brain to get the plasticity it needs to relearn what he had lost with the neural damage he had. If his mind takes over from here on in a positive way, his brain will allow his body to do what he likes to do! Score goals and be involved with the play making.

  3. We could have Haaland playing for Mexico and it would not make a difference because we dont have creative midfielders and our wingers like Hirving Lozano and Antuna cant cross a ball to save their lives ! Lozano 100% of the time tries to cut inside and go for a shot even tho he has a horrible long shot and rarely scores. Lozano reminds me of when Martial or Rashford are told to play wingers and sure they can escape markers but they will not more likely try to score themselves instead of passing it. The Pumas Huerta guy is the old dude i seen who looks for a pass and our stupid coach likes to bench him. Mexico is just pure trash especially its backline with the likes of gallardo/sanchez/montes/ and everyone else. mexico is so effin trash and feel bad for santi for picking mexico to play for

  4. I remember in 2019 when he played in LA mexico vs cuba and Raul Jimenez scored and came to celebrate right where me and my sister were siting. I will never forget that. Felt like I was inside a movie

  5. I think its just a matter of his teammates assisting him in his club and with the national team. Because its clear to me he is really close to being the old Raul.

  6. I wouldn’t say he’s back to his old form because we would have to see future performances but I will say that the confidence that those goals will bring to him, could potentially unlock that Raul we all know and love. Also, I don’t think he’s blocking anyone in the national team, of course we would love Santi to be our starting striker but having someone like Raul putting in that pressure will definitely make for some great internal competition.

  7. We co need to play the players that are in current form. The national team is supposed to be based on current form. Your job as a coach is to get the best of the players and especially internationally get the best out of players in the best form at that time. If someone is to surpass him, it should be based on current form. It’s the sane way in clubs
