  1. I knew lot of city fans are blaming Walker and Diaz for all these failure on defense, however ,to be honestly cause our defense failed began from our front-three(Foden,Alvarez,lewis),three boys' bodies are thin and weak, lack of capabilities on possession and stressing ,and lost every ground-battle in game, opponents always could easily pass through our front-field and midfield by short and ranged passes to put their strikers directly against our two CBs

  2. I blame who ever told Walker to run deep into the attacking 3rd. I do know Walker was jogging back though. That's going to stick in my mind until I see otherwise. Walker crosses are useless for me.. He just can't do it effectively,. If he did create a proper cross even a blind squirrel gets a nut I'm told. Why not bring on Stones and Akanji to see the game out. I'd play 6 at the back if it would stop the bleeding. Walker has saved our season too many times in the past. That being sad someone has to speak up because players are being played out of position at the most critical times. Foden gets a pass from me because we should have had true defenders back there.

  3. City generally lost composure and intensity. They are not quick when loose ball as they once were. They a too slow when mounting attack or contraattack, this allows opponents to get organized and thwart the attack. Walker is not effective in attack as used to be. On the pich he doesn't seem to rally the team spirit as a captain should. Last but not least, too many individual mistakes are committed, especially on the defensive side.

  4. It is not players fault, it is management who made absolute horrible blunders in summer window, when pep demanded Rice and Bellingham what they delivered bums like kovacic and nunes, what was that line used by that moron Soriano after they shamelessly walked away from Rice, deal "we don't panic ' I guess such crisis will bring pain, panic and realisation, when u don't buy quality others will go ahead of u, I have no hope for them in winter window, but I hope content creator like u call out this board when they make no quality signings in winter window

  5. Agree that Walker isn't to blame for the whole season going badly and I hope that's not the impression I gave in my comment on yesterday's player ratings video! Despite him dropping a little deeper these past few PL games, he still has the license to go forward and I really think that shouldn't be the case. I stand by what I said with he's a RB and a RB only. Regardless of the fact that his cross accuracy is 39% this season, I rather Foden, Bernardo…etc crossing the ball cause they're better at it. As you said, let the other players do their jobs! Anyway, as @jamesdubesa8295 said, you win as a team and you lose as a team, no need to explicitly blame one player.
Onto the next game! CLUB WORLD CUP TROPHY INCOMING (hopefully)!!! That medal looks sick btw!

  6. Lnobbins absolutely right! No place for sentimentality here. Kyle Walker offers nothing to this team particularly going forward. Not great defensively these days as well. Only one attribute which is recovery speed and you cannot play week in week out only for this! I don’t blame him though, Pep should stop picking him.

  7. Don’t get me wrong..I was furious at 5 pm Saturday… Took me till today to even think about footy 🫣….. Bottom line … It ain’t even Xmas yet …This season will go all the way ..Several teams in the dogfight …. Premier league will benefit …City till we die ✊

  8. Even if we don't win again this season I can't really be too mad. Yes, I want them to finish first, but they have won five titles since I started watching football. As a Denver Broncos fan from the NFL they have only won three titles since their inception in the 1960s. Bad times come with good times, but we will always remain fans.

  9. Walker needs a break, just like others who don't play to their full potential. We can't afford for the captain not to be on it 100%. There's no agenda against Walker, you are mistaken. Walker is out of form and when players are out of form they get dropped (otherwise known as getting a rest). The draw is a collective error. To improve next time out changes should be made. Several players could/should be "rested" including Walker.

  10. Your rant is a bit ott btw we all want City to do well but we all have opinions on how best that is achieved. Opinions have no effect on the squad. You mentioned Walker 283 times 🙄🙄

  11. With so many late game slips this season… does he seem to be pulling the team together, rallying the troops as the captain? To me the answer is No.

  12. Not to nit-pick, but you said there have been no errors from Walker that led directly to a goal. His error v SU was exactly that, or am i missing something?

At the end of the day, it is a cascade effect with our team from the midfielders leaving Rodri on his own (Chelsea game was most apparent) to Walker and Gvardiol simultaneously being too far up the pitch when in transition, which then creates havoc for Rodri who is alone which then leads to stress and mistakes by the CBs and Ederson as theyre scrambling to defend while the rest of the team is sprinting back to help. That is not control, that is the opposite of everything we did last year. Why is it so different this year???

  13. 💯 Johny!!! Like you said, he isnt having a great season but he’s not alone either and he shouldn’t be blamed for Palace at all! I just watched both goals back in full motion and you’re exactly right. Love your takes pal 👍 keep it up

  14. Lets blame Kyle Walker for some things but hold other players at fault as well. The penalty was walker's fault for not claiming the ball in the penalty area (after Foden's mistake) and leaving it to Foden who then committed them penalty foul. Walker was in this game, and most others this season, culpable for failing to make his forays into dangerous areas at the top of the pitch count. His final pass is not good enough for Manchester City. But he is, or was, the outstanding player in Europe for shackling the very best in Vinicius and Mbappe etc. So he should be used but sparingly. I have looked at Nobbins video and he could have focussed on some other players as well. Nevertheless he is a person with a first class analytical mind and his video about the FFP breaches is the best on the internet, with Colin Savage very close.

  15. City needs to learn the low-block and use it from time to time as City gets screwed the moment the opposition sends a high press and moves numbers up the pitch happen. Plus City needs to get better at forcing counter attacks, City is good at the baiting part, but slowly progresses the ball when a counter attack is committed. Lastly, Phil Foden needs to shoot a bit better, he needs to score top corners and shoot far post more often.

  16. Giving him the contract was one of the worst things we could've done. People like to big him up because he's fast, TBF he showed a great deal of pace on the first goal we conceded. He has zero technical ability whatsoever & even had the audacity to take a last minute free kick when he should be nowhere near it.

  17. Johnny, I think you missed Nobbins point, he's tryin to say Walker is forced to start for political reason rather than overall impact on the pitch. Would you choose Kyle Walker in our BEST starting 11?

  18. Called Walker but he's only good at running even at his age. Poor on the ball…not creative…poor passing often passing to the opponent…not your typical city player. Time for the pasture.

  19. I personally think Walker has been below his standards a lot of the time this season but he's not the only one and I agree with others who say he's being asked to play more attacking and he just can't do it effectively and also results in him not being in a position to defend as much. At the end of the day the team and the manager are all collectively responsible for what happens on the pitch, we don't know what players are being asked to do by Pep and the staff. Many of the team aren't closing down all game this season and even when they do most won't attempt a tackle ever. If an opponent knows you aren't going to tackle them they won't panic into doing anything that loses the ball. On the Foden thing you could argue that if Walker was playing defensively you wouldn't need to have an attacking midfielder defending in the box.

  20. Kyle Walker is awful. Has been for a while. He is not the only one to blame, because almost every player has been culpable at some point. However, Walker offers literally nothing. Shit going forward and shit defensively. Look at the first goal where Walker is casually jogging back, that's unforgivable.
