I don't see why United are getting any credit. i am a neutral but they were woeful, again. They allowed over 30 shots. There was no structure to anything they did. They got a point because Liverpool were dreadful in front of goal. That is the only reason. Based on those stats, it should have ended 2 or 3-0 & usually would. Couple that with the fact United have managed, wait for it, 2 shots on target in total in 2 matches (1 per game), one of which was a must win in the Champions league. Neither of those shots was threatening at all. You can't compliment that, it is a debacle. This is the only point they have got away against any of the leagues top clubs all season and it is purely down to Liverpool considerably under-performing.

UTD have to play against the referees as well as opposition every match. Sarcastically clapping referee after booking our players get sent off and throwing arms up angrily at decisions going against players at throwings corners freekicks happens all the time & no one gets sent off , GARNACHO 3 or 4 pushed blatantly to the ground when he was about to run in behind defenders didn't get freekicks & minutes later in box he got wrong side of defender & touched guys shirt and referee blew whistle against him 😂😂so obvious

Interesting how nobody seems to be holding the referee accountable for making a mistake in the first place…..What if Liverpool had scored from an erroneously awarded throw in?..would VAR had then come in?..what about the yellow cards?…..some of these EPL referees baffle me….hiding behind "the letter of the law" and refusing to use simple common sense in certain situations….
