Arsenal was still top of the league by this time last year with a bigger point gap and Thomas Partey as the six and a more free flowing play style…..Declan Rice hasnt taken Arsenal to a new level he has come in to an already good side and just maintained the levels required to play in that side

If it’s any consolation, Rice spoke to Arteta and decided he only wanted to play for Arsenal. Turned down City and United never had any chance of signing him. Rice himself said as much.
