No one talk about it but Milan did come from an injuries period that go on by september (even pulisic did get injured for few weeks) and 2/3 weeks ago was almost in the same situation as newcastle, we did recovered leao and okafor for CL but out of 6 central back we got only tomori able to play and theo had to play as central back for 3 games and will continue to play there until genuary trasfermarket so newcastle got the injuries kinda excuses but florenzi theo tomori and calabria was literally the only 4 defenders available for Milan which 2 are good and 2 are mid (florenzi could be good but got a speed boost that last for 1,5 meters and is short so sadly this is enough for make him an easy defender to pass through)

guys christian is my favorite player of all time. but he had a very average game. lucky to get a goal, which he took beautifully and i was delighted to celebrate it, but to say that he had a great game is just way off the mark. One of his worst games in an AC Milan shirt.

As an Italian Milan supporter I was nervous of Pulisic. I thought he was a product of American hype. Having seen him, he’s very clinical…the man doesn’t waste chances. He is also a very intelligent player.
Pulisic's finally staying pretty healthy for more than a month. He's been so injury prone. If he can stay on the field, that's everything.

Milan have 5/6 centre backs out through injury the backup goalie out through injury with the likes of leao, okafor, bennacar just coming back from injury. Milan are extremely limited in their centre back options Newcastle really weren’t at that much of a disadvantage by comparison

I read a great balanced article about his season after this game. The upshot was he’s been solid from the get go with really good statistical production, but there is also room for improvement. He will disappear in matches and without leao it’s harder for him. But they are right even if he doesn’t improve dynamically but keeps up the same statistics it will be his best season yet

Good grief, of course CP had an average game at Newcastle. But did anyone look at Giroud and Leao? They all had about the same touches, same completed passes, and were generally about as effective. It wasn’t that CP was average, the entire team was average. And why wouldn’t Milan be average on the road, against a strong team, with a Champion’s League Round of 16 slot on the line. At one point on the day, each of the 4 teams in the group had a spot in the 16 based on live standings. It was a closely matched group, who played one another very tightly.
Focusing on CP being average completely misses that the group made all players look average.
Is CP this? Is CP that? How about just saying he is a good player having a good season. ‘Nuff said. His Fotmob stats are good. He is scoring and assisting. He is finding a way to contribute. He is staying healthy. And he has as many goals as Leao did in his entire first season, which doesn’t mean he is better than Leao, it just means he is producing. Good for him. Good for Milan.
