The focus going into the tackle is making a hard safe tackle.

Great call….any contact to the head is dangerous this has been in union for the last 10 years now and league fans will see the benefits to players safty. The refs just need to be consistant.
Honestly, the refs need to know the difference between a tackle and a shoulder charge and a dangerous tackle. Like get some glasses ref

Tackler has a responsibilty to avoid making contact with the head. Simple as that. Rules are pretty clear don't understand why there was even debate over this.
