Arsenal and Chelsea have been handed a boost in their hunt for Fulham star Joao Palhinha.
During the summer transfer window, Joao Palhinha was on the verge of leaving Fulham for German Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich.
However, the transfer collapsed on deadline day despite the Portuguese being pictured in Bayern gear.

Since then, the 28-year-old signed a new deal with Fulham.

Now, the Gunners and Chelsea have been handed a big boost as Liverpool’s stance in the transfer saga has been revealed.
According to ‘This Is Anfield’, Liverpool are not planning to make a move for the Fulham star, who is set to be priced at around £70-£80m.

It was tipped that Chelsea will officially open talks in the coming weeks with Fulham in a swap deal for Joao Palhinha and Conor Gallagher.

We Understand Chelsea want a swap deal to not go beyond FFP rules and we are told Bayern are the front runners but Chelsea are in direct talks with his agent.
