The only difference being Maignan didn't really meant it, he was just kicking it whereas Allison always does it after a set piece for counter attack
Usually when you control the ball while sprinting, the top of the boot is where you would think is the place you would try and collect the ball. Pulisic opened the inside of his boot while sprinting to gather the ball and it fell perfectly in front of him and that was special to see. I am slightly geeking out about it because I know how hard it is to control a long ball when you are running diagonally. It was a great long ball with a special fist touch and the finish was perfect as people would try to whip the ball with their dominant foot when you are at that angel but he chiped the ball knowing it would be easier to miss place the shot at that angel or it will be blocked much easily. Overall a great shot on goal as well
Questo gol è fantastico, pulisic è un giocatore di un altro livello, uno stop incredibile che non lo ha rallentato, resiste fisicamente, va dritto contro l' avversario che o lo butta a terra causando il rigore o lo lascia andare come in questo caso e poi la mette nell'unico buco disponibile… a 20 mln uno così è stato un colpo assurdo da parte dei nostri dirigenti
A testimonianza che la costruzione dell'azione dal basso non sempre è la scelta migliore.
