People need to stop assuming any and every muggy comment on social media needs to be acknowledged. Half of em are bits or 14 year olds in another continent.
Is it any wonder that Aaron may have been a tad nervous? Not helped by the Brentford fans, but that's part and parcel of football. Having stick from the opposing fans.
Last season he made some fantastic saves (Away to Liverpool stands out.) that saved Arsenal points and then suddenly to be replaced by Raya. That must have been a real kick in the teeth for a 'keeper who was dying to play Champions League football.
I'd still prefer Ramsdale in goal to Raya. Raya's definitely not perfect. But if he was brought in for his kicking ability, I've yet to see it. Bar Aaron's kicking, he's just a better all round 'keeper. Raya was out of position for both that goal away to Chelsea and for the Newcastle goal. Both times he was to far forward of the front post.
