I find it ridiculously funny, that Pep signed Kovacic this season, who's one of the best progressive dribbling midfielders in the world to add dynamism to his team, then a lot of people came to the conclusion that that's what Ten Hag should've gotten. The first player he wanted, DeJong, is the best dribbling midfielder in Europe from deep btw.
United do need to replace Casemiro and Christian Eriksen long term. To replace Casemiro, United should target Amadou Onana from Everton. He is premier league proven, physically imposing, tough tackling and is a team player. To replace Eriksen, United should target Andre Trindade from Fluminese. He is also tough tackling, press resistant and an excellent passer. It would cost about £100m for the two players

alex scott should be a good candidate. his performances last season show what he is capable of. he has not played much at bournemouth but he has excellence there.

United should look to sign youssouf fofana and have a midfield trio of mount as a 10, bruno as an 8 and fofana as a 6 with a backup trio of mejbri, mainoo and oyedele all from the academy. mctominay will be an extra option.
In defence, sign todibo and branthwaite and bring in will fish from the academy. Start martinez and todibo, backup duo of branthwaite and fish with lindelof as 5th choice cb.
