Don't think Grealish is getting away from the defender anyway. Poor decision regardless
It's a mistake. But please tell me where we are ok when a ref decides the outcome on so many occasions.
It seems that too many times a refs mental decision even when wrong is the final word and we just have to accept it. I understand mistakes but it's frequently….crazy

As an Arsenal supporter I'm delighted that Spurs did us a big favour, but Arteta is right, something needs to be done about the standard of these officials, it's every week.
Anyway, Grealish wouldn't have scored, he'd have thrown himself to the floor pretending to have been fouled, like he does at least a dozen times in every game.

Exactly same thing happened to us (Middlesbrough) against Leieceter other week. Fortunately, we scored from the subsequent free kick. Refs are a shambles in every league in England. We need a complete overhaul of the rules. Football is becoming a joke, due to officials.
These officiators are making the premier league the worse league with their stupid incompetency. There needs to be a body to scrutinise these lousy refereees. It's gotten so bad it needs to change.
Match fixing at its best bookies and ref had to make sure city didn’t win to collect all that money on city not winning
The referee puts his hand up to wave play on then he see's Grealish with an opportunity and then calls it back, very poor refereeing today!! The referee should be suspended immediately!!

This sometimes happens as a referee, slowing it down to a Tarantino slow mo isn’t fair. You see a foul and think the ball has gone, he maybe thought Grealish was offside too.
