      Tomiyasu is actually one of the reasons Arsenal are able to play very high pressing football rightnow, just like against wolves earlier today. The guy made an overlap, straight after sprinted back and played the 3rd cb then pushed up to play the right defensive midfielder role. Ive also noticed tomiyasu has increased his sprint capability, he's seemed like he's faster than the last 2 seasons, even last season. Blud is matching Saka's run and saka is no pushover when it comes to a full sprint .

      Far better defender than white who gets overwhelmed in big games. Once tomi went off wolves were coming down the right side though white wasnt there. White is possibly better going fwd but the weak link in the defence and sometimes looks lost and gets subbed.

      Other than try to back pass to ramsdale and conceding goal against man city which was scored by kevin de. He did nothing wrong. Turned out to be a gem. As an asian i like his defending so much specially with his header

      I am a Gooner and LOVE Tomiyasus development at Arsenal. At first ArtetaNal was using Tomy as backup for other midfielders but has SOLIDIFIED himself as a regular now.
      I prefer Tomy in our midfield because he is very disciplined and dependable..

      Erm bit of a stretch to say Tomi is one of the best players. He’s been great the past 6/7 games but it’s obviously Saliba whos been the best player this season.

      I honestly hate how today there are a lot of great players around the world. Unfortunately agents are how run the transfers due too many clubs pulling out scouts to save money so a lot of high potential players end up disappearing and wasted potential. Tomiyasu hopefully still has this agent to thank for. Got him to Genoa and now Arsenal.

      Next season's defense is going to be unbelievable – Saliba, with 2 whole seasons in the prem as the unquestioned best CB under 25 (meaning not an experienced veteran) in the world, crazy depth with Timber coming in as basically a new signing, and Rice (i consider the 4 DF and the DM/#6 to be the defense) will be more comfortable in the system with a full season getting used to positional play. Based on how good they already are, next season they may be completely impenetrable AND extremely skilled at getting the ball forward in build-up.
