Everton have been docked 10 points, the heaviest punishment ever handed to a Premier League team, for breaching financial rules. This potentially puts the club at risk of relegation. The protests were well-funded, with more than £40,000 raised for the various banners and 38,000 pink cards that filled Goodison Park, impressively coordinated and executed en masse. Boos also began as soon as two men stepped on to the pitch carrying Premier League signage before kick-off.

  1. Only one person to blame at everton football club and that's the owner moshiri, everton supporters should sue moshiri for miss ownership of the club, I'm urging everton supporters not to buy any merchandise from the club etc untill moshiri sells everton football club, moshiri out

  2. It's perfectly OK to be bought and paid for by a regime with an appalling human rights record (Newcastle United) but if you fall foul of the FFP rules by £20million you get crucified.
    Makes sense.
