holjberg will solve the ndombele problem because his problem was that he didn't chase for the ball because we didn't have a cdm but now we do and holjberg will solve that problem
Gutted we ended up with Ndombele over Bruno Fernandes last summer. Ndombele has shown flashes, but Fernandes changed the dynamic of United after he arrived. World class player.
As for signings, I'm thinking Max Aarons, Callum Wilson, and with those home growns in, adding DYBALA!! (one can dream…)
Imagine if Spurs signed Dybala and Bruno Fernandes last summer instead of Lo Celso and Ndombele. Poch may still be employed, and we’d most likely be discussing Champions league next season instead of Europa.
Spurs have to raise their expectations and make their mind up if they want to challenge for top honours or be content to aim for the top four in the PL. Poch knew what he wanted to aim for and that’s why we loved him because he dared to dream! He didn’t set any limits Alasdair, he said what he wanted to achieve in the first four years and did it! Then he set out the next plan to challenge for the title and the CL. The problem he had was that the chairman and company didn’t share his ambitions or said no that’s not the Tottenham way! Well I want to dare to dream! We have a new stadium and top training facilities and we have to believe that we don’t have to finish below arsenal anymore and we can achieve our dreams if we want. I'm not completely sure, but I'm fairly sure the maximum squad size is 25. So that means if we bring up someone like Whiteman to be our 3rd choice goalkeeper and bring in a HG backup striker, whilst also having the likes of Alli, Winks, Tanganga and Kane that means we have 6. We're going to have to sell some players to buy and those will likely include at least two non HG players, meaning we will have two spare slots, or we'll be able to register two youth players.

I think we need a new RB and LB (especially RB). That and a back up for Kane and I think that's all we need alongside maybe a new CB because I don't fully trust Davinson
Jose likes you Alasdair so can you banter with him about Callum Wilson. A British player and a perfect fit. We need to protect Harry Kane. If it wasn't for all of those post lock down goals he scored. we would have missed 6th place on goal difference.

Yes Hojbjerg is a very good player, indeed Mourinho had carefully targeted the players he wanted, not superstars but warriors and Spurs fans are so delighted it's a very good signing.
