  1. This iNviNciBLeS thing is the most overrated achievement in football..
Drawing 12 games, getting Knocked out of all cup Competitions and calling it Invincibles?? Yeah right, I could draw 38 times, get Relegated and call myself an Invincible..
It's just some sympathetic name they gave them, nothin real..
    iNviNciBLeS my FOOT!

  2. I’ve never seen something rinsed over and over again like Arsenal’s invincibles. There’s at least 3 premier league sides that are better but people aren’t ready for that conversation.

  3. Fabio Capello went full Invincibles with Milan in the 90s and Serie A was on a different planet..

Ajax also went full Invincibles in the 90s in Eredivisie, which was also in top 4 leagues at that time and not only that, Ajax won the champions league in the same season.

Arsenal's Invincibles is the most annoyingly Overrated overstated thing in football

  4. There are players like Messi, Ronaldo, Rooney, Zidane, Xavi, Maldini, etc. who have impeccable careers….
Then there are players like R9, Ronaldinho, Henry , KaKa, or Neymar, who didn’t have the greatest longevity! However, when at their best; they were arguably the greatest players in the world….

  5. Great achievement but a fair few teams in prem history that are better and I’m sure anyone would rather have a league title and champions league then be invincible

  6. even though im a gunner i always thought the centurions were better til i asked myself, which record will be beaten sooner, the points record or the unbeaten record. and the points record is the answer which makes the invincibles a "harder" achievement

  7. The best way for today's generation (who missed this incredible era) to understand how good these players were, would be to try to translate them into today's FIFA games.

From a Non-Bias perspective, this would roughly be their ratings…

    Lehmann – 85
    Cole – 86
    Campbell – 85
    Toure – 84
    Lauren – 82
    Pires – 87
    G. Silva – 84
    Vieira – 90
    Ljungberg – 85/86
    Henry – 91
    Bergkamp – 89

🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️ That's as good as, if not better than Man City today

  8. The football that Invincible's team played was unbelievable, the passing and movement. But it was the mix of power pace and technique. They were a big physically imposing team with so much speed right through from back to front. They could stand toe to toe with any of the top teams today and when at their best blow them away.

Also should remember Arsenal from 01 – 04 should have won 3 titles back to back, they lead that middle season for 77 percent of the season, only to have an absolute meltdown in the last few weeks just as Man U had a crazy run of results.

  9. The Invincibles are the most overrated team ever, Liverpool beat their tally how many times and haven't won the league, it just shows the prem was worse back then.
