I don't think United is short of ball winners when we have Casemiro and Amrabat. The only reason why they're struggling is because of tactics that leave them isolated in a 3-1-6 system, both offensively and defensively. I think the main issue is that we don't have possession players who are also good at defending. Andre from Fluminense, Joao Neves, Khephren Thuram are better options in my opinion.
Have doubts over this guy technically. He's not very progressive either, very safe with his passing. He's definitely not an elite 6, could see him playing alongside a player like Mainoo in the pivot or someone who excels in the 1st phase. I'm not sold on Onana but physically he'd clearly be a big upgrade. If Ten Hag wants to play like Liverpool then it's a signing that makes sense I guess.
