  1. I love how he fails to mention that our attackers have been getting injured left right and centre and we’ve still picked up points regardless playing Man U, Spurs and City(Halaand held to 0 shots and we played solid defence so I don’t want to hear no chat about luck the game was boring and we was both playing good defence that’s it nothing more nothing less only argument you can make is that guy that gives me nightmares… KDB man now if he was there it would’ve been a big big problem that’s their best player period.). Only loss was Newcastle at St James Park and you guys know how Newcastle can be at their ground it was a close one we didn’t get wiped (unlike some of yall teams🤧) so I don’t want to hear that one too tough. Last season it was our attack doing most of the work but this season our defence has been doing most of the work which is crazy to even make it sound like it’s not a good thing idk what would make Carra (who is a defender btw) just overlook our improvement in defence to #1 but then just talk about the attack like that’s all it’s about considering that’s what cost Liverpool as well with Suarez 🤷🏾‍♂️. its waaaaayyy too early to talk but I’m calm with my team I know we’re getting UCL regardless so that was out of the question from the beginning but in terms of the title it’s more of the attack finding that rhythm and just staying healthy if we get someone in January that will help us but Jamie tripping off that 1-1 draw against City a little too much there 🤨

  2. We've played some big games and had injuries, but I think you can see players hesitating a bit more even when maybe they should turn it up a bit because we're playing such a controlled patient style. It's just turning up to that next gear that we can get better at, but it might be better than going gung ho for 30 – 40 minutes and then dropping back and inviting pressure, giving teams confidence and all of a sudden they could smell blood, cause that's what Arsenal did last season. Top of the table though, can't complain too much 😁😁😁🔴⚪

  3. My literal sister is turning 28 at midnight, you should know, and the country of jordan have got their foots permanent on my neck saying you are not going anywhere until we got our thing in north london! #PlanABetterChristmasMonthYouWastemenTheLiteralFixturesAreTheMostYouShouldReallyKnowDifficultGoingToTheNewYear

  4. They look better. Winning whilst looking as defensively solid as they have with a constantly changing frontline and midfield (due to tinkering but also injuries) and all whilst not getting out of 2nd gear. Thats exciting if you ask me. Theyre getting results without too much hassle already with most of the toughest fixtures out the way (playing city, utd, spurs, chelsea, newcastle (a)). The team will settle now the front 5 are all fit and with the games coming thick and first theyll get plenty of practice in for things to start clicking again. Its all about fluency and that only comes through repetition. Open play xg also a little misleading as arsenal have had 5 penalties which usually mean in a good shooting position you get fouled, so no shot and thus no xg is recorded for open play. Its still worse but not as stark as the stats make it appear

  5. And yet they will finish the season again without any trophy! :)))))) The title race is between City and Liverpool everyone else are there to just warm up the race.

  6. Nowhere near as good as last season (they've been woeful this season in pretty much every game)

Won't be anywhere near winning the title and will be a bigger gap than last year

  7. The reason for our drop in attacking stats is twofold, one no Partey in the team on a regular basis to give us the platform to build in possession with our usual style of play becos Partey when in the squad had that ability to beat the initial press and spray the first midfield pass to the attacking players. Secondly, teams have sussed out the key link between Odegaard and Saka in the way we move the ball and create our patterns of play. Now, although these stats are not ideal from an attacking point of view, the fact that we r much more sturdier in defence bodes well for us because having a strong basis will enhance performance over time during the season. It is key now we get to January still within touching distance of Man City and Liverpool for the title. Arteta has to now strike the right formula to get the front 4 firing in the team. I personally would like to see Trossard in the 8 role with Odegaard behind the main 3 of saka, Martinelli and Jesus till January as Trossard work rate off the ball and his adaptability will provide us with more threat to the opponent.

  8. Im not taking anything away from Jamies achievements in Football but is it fair to say that carraghers opinion on winning a premier league is pretty much useless giving he hasnt won any? 😂

  9. Defence wins championships, and Arsenal statistically have the leagues best defence – Arsenal scored 88 last season but lost the league due to the loss of Saliba/Tomiyasu and stability in games, the frantic nature of their games towards the end of the season cost them and Arteta has addressed that this summer tactically and with the signings of rice and timber who’s unfortunately injured but you see where the priorities were. They conceded 43 goals last year, way too many. Arsenal are not as exciting but exert more control now. Bar the odd mistake they barely give anything away

  10. Yer they are playing shithouse park the bus football and have been lucky in games against City Spurs Chelsea Brentford.

Everything’s falling their way thats the only way they will win it.
