Getting to Know… Chris Gunter – Reading & Wales

In celebration of St David’s Day, the Football Association of Wales have released ‘Getting to Know’, an original, feature series across the FA Wales YouTube channel.

The brand-new series follows former Wales footballer and sport presenter Owain Tudur Jones on a mission to enable football fans the opportunity to really get to know their footballing heroes, both past and present, whilst offering a unique insight into the personalities of these athletes that is rarely ever seen.

The first episode of ‘Getting to Know’ sees OTJ head to the outskirts of Reading to meet with Wales’ Senior Men’s most capped player and Reading defender Chris Gunter. Gunter discusses his; unique bond between his Welsh teammates, caps record, relationship with the Red Wall and famous chants from the Canton End, his favourite team talk from Chris Coleman, in addition to many more insights all over a round of golf.
