  1. When will Canada allow the young new players a chance. I know if we make it to 2024 Copa and World Cup we will get washed because. You can see Victoria struggle with pace, and no subs today made an impact. Nelson, Ali, and many more deserve a chance to rock. We can't still be playing for 2022 world cup.

  2. Great win been calling for a 4-4-2 since world cup two things gotta get Phonzie to stop playing hero ball and get more involved seem to still not know how to use him ? And two we must find a replacement for Vittoria if Bailey had any finish we would have been in deep trouble .Vitoria is to old and slow every team knows to torch him over the top .

  3. They’re still top 2 in concacaf, Alex? Let’s get off the kool aid. International football is a game of form and this team isn’t in the form they were 2 years ago.

Until they can get a result against better opponents, which they’ve failed at every opportunity they’ve had since qualifying for Qatar (Uruguay, Belgium, Morocco, Croatia, Japan), they’re not in the conversation for top in this region. They’re now back to that tier below the US and Mexico unfortunately

  4. I agree with you on Davies taking the set pieces.
Junior Hoillett is very good at taking them.
It's the same as when Davies took the Penalty kick in the World cup. He should never have taken that, when Jonathan David takes them regularly at Lille & he usually scores.
However, even though Davies didn't have his best game, he still was very fast & he caused Jamaica to move back. Remember that the terrible pitch slowed the ball down & made it hard for Davies to carry the ball at full speed.

  5. Really happy with how Biello handled the match! 4 at the back should be the standard. Adekugbe and Laryea on the outsides with their speed provides security for when Vitoria reads well and pushes up but risks getting caught out. Adekugbe and Davies can trade off runs forward and staying back beautifully. Laryea is so incredibly underrated, both offensively and defensively and slots so well in with Buchanan. Would want to see Johnston in a CDM to keep him starting. They all like to push forward into attack so we don't lose any attacking prowess by setting up defensively (relying on speed to get back). 4-1-3-2 as default but 4-2-3-1 for higher calibre teams in Copa America and WC.
