      True, 2015/16 was THE prime Bale. He had 33 goal contributions (19 goals + 14 assists) in 31 matches. Not only that, by this time, his close control, physical strength, and heading improved a ton. He isn't remembered as much for this season because he again got injured midway through, but returned by the time of UEFA finals and provided the winning assist. And just after finishing this season, he led Wales to Euros semi finals. This was the season the comparisons between Bale and Neymar peaked, and many opined that Bale was better than Neymar. Crack season 👌🏻
