Remember how well Zouma played in CB last time against City? I wouldn't play him in CDM at all. If we don't use mikel (hope not but wouldn't be surprised) why not use Ivanovic in CDM? If you think about his play style and his previous games in CB, I think he could put a very reasonable shift in.. And we don't want a speedy attack giving him the run around again because although he's still a world class RB, we've seen pace is clearly something he's starting to struggle with, something he wouldn't need in CDM. Although it all depends who gets played in LB (considering cesar gets moved to RB) if the baba deal goes through I'd start him now to see how he does, and if it goes sour just move Ivanovic back to RB and sub him off at half time. I'm Chelsea through and through, but let's be fair here – we're not going to beat City next weekend. Our form from Pre-season has carried over to the league proper, and City look fired up. We'll go for a 0-0, and come unstuck 2 or 3 to 0.

I know we're worried about Sterling going up against Ivanovic but I think Sterling will be trying to drift more into the center as he'll want to score. But Kolarov was working down the flank the most and getting in the crosses. Ivanovic and Kolarov are teammates on the national team so maybe Ivanovic will know him a little better.

Man city have fire power and create chances.Chelsea just don't seem to create enough chances.Its a typical mourinho team.Chelsea need another striker,midfielder and defender.

Hey youness how can I get on daily blues I'm a Chelsea fan I like to get on one of your daily blue streams.
My team for city:
Begovic, Ivanovic, Terry, Cahill, Azpilicueta, Matic, Zouma, Oscar, Hazard, Willian, Costa.
I prefer Zouma to play in midfield because of his physicality, can do a better job than Mikel and Ramires. I think Fabregas hasn't been amazing in the big games, not good enough defensively. While Oscar has been fantastic, always shows great defensive workrate. We need pace on the counter, Oscar is much quicker than Fabregas. We need the same performance as we did in 13/14, but I'm confident we can beat them. Dont get into their new bandwagon that they're amazing. In 2010/2011 season we won our first 2 games 6-0 consecutively, destroyed almost every team until November, but ended up the season trophyless. Their win doesn't mean much. I'm confident we can beat them.

Despite Baba coming in Ivan wont be dropped. Simply back up to Azpi at the moment an then he will phase in Baba. Pretty simple really to understand also dont forget ivan can also fill in Cb but in the long run azpil will be rb. But not yet.
As a WBA fan at the game yesterday. We were poor, rather than city being excellent. They played well but if you give them the space they will punish!

What was the fucking score yesterday ? U got absolutely battered. Chelsea rent boys will be lucky to finish 4th this season. Hazard is not in Silva's class, the only reason hazard scored more is cos he takes penalties, whereas Silva doesn't.
baba rahman will be a good signing for Chelsea and will strengthen the defence.
