I really liked amrinder cause he was not afraid to play ball. Gurpreet does not and cannot play ball though he is the best shot stopper india currenly have. But in my opinion i'd choose amrinder because he is not afraid to make that pass that enables us to keep the ball. So less fatigue on our players as a whole and more possession of ball it can make a whole lot of difference.
His ingame management and starting line up was poor….

I saw the match yesterday and I have also seen our matches against Qatar during WC22 qualifiers that time even of the result were 0-0 and 0-1 we were playing like nothing , we completely parked the bus as they say .
Yesterday we were infact creating chances but finishing is sh** by our players if we could have scored 1 goal GD could have been better now its -2 , only thing I hated was Amrinder's nervous passes to Akram Afif and other forwards of Qatar team , they're such a wealthy team so they have better facilities and players compared to us Now onto the games against Afghanistan and Kuwait in India .
Away against Qatar our approach must be to play highly defensive so that GD is better than Kuwait ๐ ๐

The problem with Ishan is that he lacks ability of play maker which he needs to improve a great deal. But he is good In front of the goal. He needs to sort out his weakness on war footing. There after his goal rate will increase besides conversion by his team mates.
I have almost never seen our AMs and strikers take on multiple defenders using fake and even basic tricks inside the box. The chances missed by Sahal and Thapa could have been buried with an extra touch or fake and then boom. We need to improve on these tricks/skills too, obviously good first touch is must in order to pull these off ๐
So, our coach was on a trial mode for AFC Asian cup 2024๐ and was experimenting in the FIFA WC Qualifiers. I think now AIFF will try to get some friendlies at least.
