Ricardo Jorge da Luz Horta (port. Ricardo Jorge da Luz Horta; born September 15, 1994 in Sobreda, Portugal) is a Portuguese footballer who plays as a midfielder for the Braga club.

Ricardo’s younger brother Andre is also a professional football player.

Horta began playing football at the Benfica academy, in 2011 he moved to the youth system of Vitoria Setúbal. On April 7, 2013, in a match against Rio Ave, he made his debut in the Sangrish League. On December 9, in a duel against Academicians, Ricardo scored his first goal for the new team.

In the summer of 2014, Horta moved to the Spanish “Malaga”. On August 23, in a match against Athletic Bilbao, he made his debut in La Liga. On January 6, 2015, Horta scored his first goal for Malaga in the Copa del Rey against Levante. On February 28, in a match against Getafe, he scored his first goal in the Spanish championship.

In the summer of 2016, Horta moved on loan to Braga. On August 14, in a match against Vitoria Guimarães, he made his debut for a new team, replacing Pedro Santos in the second half. On October 30, in a duel against Belenenses, Ricardo made a “double”, scoring his first goals for Braga. At the end of the season, the club bought the player’s transfer from Malaga.
